Solo Jazz Guitar Concert featuring Dr. Cass Patrick 4/26/2021

The soloist this evening is Dr. Cass Patrick, who has been an instructor at Itawamba Community College since 1996 and the Fine Arts division Chair since 2001. His current teaching responsibilities include freshman and sophomore theory, jazz band and music appreciation. Prior to teaching at ICC, Patrick directed the Jazz Studies and Classical Guitar programs at Auburn University. He has written and arranged for a wide range of musical ensembles, both on and off campus including jazz band, marching band, wind ensemble, choir, show choir, various chamber groups, and area orchestras. Patrick earned the B.B.A. degree with an emphasis in Marketing, a B.A. degree in Music, M.M. degree in Music Composition and a D.A. degree in Music Theory from the University of Mississippi. He currently lives in Pontotoc with his wife Amy and their glaring of cats.
