One of the best ways to experience as much of the natural beauty of the Everglades as possible in one trip is to follow a trail. The Anhinga Trail, Pa-Hay-Okee Trail, and Mahogany Hammock Trail are a few of the best.
The best things to do in the Everglades are areas that are perfect for wildlife viewing, birdwatching, and relaxing. These include Ten Thousand Islands, Shark Valley, and Nine Mile or Paurotis Pond.
The historic significance of the area can’t be forgotten, and it’s preserved in several important spots that are also some of the best things to do in the Everglades.
