The first of 4 flights
The first of 4 flights in 3 days saw us depart from Terminal 3 at MAN on the 0640 BA Shuttle down to LHR. Aircraft today was G-EUYE (my first time on a BA A320). Due to an issue with the APU we were air started on stand before being pushed out, after a brief taxi to 23L we were on our way with a very rapid climbout into some nice sunrise conditions. The flight itself was very uneventful but with some nice lighting throughout. We made one 360 Orbit before starting our approach into a cloudy and gusty LHR with a nice firm landing on 27R!
First time flying BA since November 2016 and to be honest nothing has changed except for the buy on board policy which wasn't really a concern to me as the flight was so short. The cabin was still very comfortable with good legroom, decent recline, nice mood lighting and accurate moving maps. Futhermore the crew were very friendly as usual, the captain particularly was quite funny and cracked a few jokes with me after we landed in LHR. Nothing to complain about, a great shuttle flight down to LHR!
