I recently needed to upgrade my DSLR. After a lot of soul-searching, I had to face the realization that perhaps I don’t absolutely NEED 4K…
…which meant that Canon's "worst" camera, the 6D Mark II is literally the PERFECT camera for me! I say worst because the initial reviews when the camera was released in 2017 were quite negative (mainly due to the lack of 4k). However, as time has gone on, more people seem to be appreciating all that this camera DOES offer.
I've been shooting with the original 6D for several years, but have begun to find it so restrictive for video that I basically stopped using it.
My quest for a great full frame camera with a flip out screen and reliable autofocus made the second generation Canon 6D the ideal contender.
