בלב ג'בליה, בהפוגה בין הקרבות נפגשים שני לוחמי גולני שני אחים – אלירז ואליסף. הם מתחבקים בהקלה, חיבוק שמקפל בתוכו זיכרונות ילדות מתוקים וגעגוע לאחיהם הגדול, אוריאל, שנהרג שנים אחדות קודם לכן בקרב בלבנון. החיבוק המשפחתי במרחב הסוריאליסטי הזה ייצרב בנפשו של אליסף ויקבל משמעות מצמררת לאחר נפילתו של אלירז זמן קצר לאחר מכן בציר כיסופים.

Looking For Them
In memory of Uriel Peretz who fell in battle in Lebanon (1998) and Eliraz Peretz who fell during an incident in the Gaza Strip (2010)
Filmmakers: Neko productions
In the heart of Jabalia, during a lull in the fighting, two Golani soldiers — brothers Eliraz and Elyasaf— meet up. They embrace each other with tremendous relief, a hug which embodies sweet childhood memories and the longing for their older brother, Uriel, who was killed several years earlier during a battle in Lebanon. The family embrace, in this surrealist setting, will thereafter be soldered into Elyasaf’s soul; it gains chilling significance after Eliraz is killed shortly following this encounter, on Route Kissufim (in Hebrew, Tzir Kissufim, literally: The Route of Longing, which was the main thoroughfare leading into Gush Katif).
