My 5 FAVORITE Lav Mic Mounts!

When it comes to wiring talent, there are many ways to skin a cat - and there are many tricks and solutions available - no single solution works in all situations! You sound mixers know this!

You must always look at wardrobe at hand, and the scene that is about to play out to determine the best lav mounting technique. However, here are some tried-and-true mounts and ways I use them that have worked out well for the location sound work that I do. #5 is my go-to if I can get it and the wardrobe is right for it -- otherwise, the other methods work well, too.
