My Eastern Europe Gone By, I Miss It So...

The break in usual transmission continues with one more nostalgia trip, from the days when I was young(ish), skinny, and the Founding Editor of Kraków In Your Pocket. Recorded on a single November's day in 1999. I made this video as a demo for The Discovery Channel. Someone called "Brian": name checked at the end. Probably he's long gone by now. Don't think I ever heard back from the guy. That's show business.

And oh yes, I do miss the "old" Eastern Europe. Now that there's a Starbucks on every corner.

Incidentally, Bernard Offen is still around - at 95 years of age.
