Exploring Loews Portofino Bay Hotel At Universal Orlando
Touring An Official On-Site Theme Park Hotel
Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort is an on-site Italian-themed hotel in Orlando.
Modelled after the real life seaside town of Portofino, the 750 room hotel, is made up of cobbled streets, piazzas and the centrepiece boat filled harbour, where you can take a water taxi to Universal CityWalk and the theme parks, Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, home to the infamous The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
In this video we take a tour around the impressive Italian themed resort, to check out the many amenities, including swimming pools, laundry, restaurants, Starbucks, shops and shuttle bus to the theme parks and Volcano Bay water park.
We will also tour a Two Queen Standard Garden View Room. The rooms are a spacious 450 square feet with real Italian furniture, marble accents and offer a lovely vista of the manicured grounds, they also feature an absolutely huge bathroom with a seriously impressive water-pressure shower.
Staying on-site at an official Universal Resort Hotel might be a more cost effective way to experience Orlando and comes with incredible perks like Early Entry to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The Premier Hotels include unlimited express pass, which allows you to skip the lines at participating attractions, with a valid admission ticket of course!
