As part of our Meet the Author series, "Hal" Baumgarten presents "D-Day Survivor: An Autobiography."
Dr. Harold Baumgarten, a multi-decorated survivor, gives his eyewitness account of the first wave landing of the 116th Infantry on D-Day, June 6, 1944. Dr. Baumgarten has been involved with the Museum since we opened our doors on June 6, 2000, speaking at many events and also traveling on our Normandy Tours that we lead overseas.
