Anomers & Haworth Projections

This webcast deals with the stereochemistry of cyclic monosaccharides. We'll see how intramolecular attack on the diastereotopic faces of the carbonyl group leads to diastereomers called "anomers," and how to depict cyclic anomers in three dimensions using Haworth projections and chair forms.
