Skiing essentials- what to wear and what to pack

Skiing needn't be a complicated or an expensive holiday. Join us as we pack our ski kit and get ready for our first family ski holiday in over 4 years. As usual, we have left it to the last minute, but join us as we go through all the essentials for an enjoyable ski trip. From what to wear to stay warm and what paperwork to take with you, we cover it all as we check off our own gear for our 2 weeks in the French Alps.

We are Richard and Jackie and we live in the UK. We have chosen to early retire from teaching during the summer of 2022 at the age of 51. Our plans for early requirement include relocating to the Yorkshire Dales, developing our forever home and travel the UK, Europe and eventually the world in our VW campervan Nelson.

You will soon realise that we are complete YouTube beginners with all the challenges of creating and publishing videos ahead of us, not to mention uploading when on the road.
