Breaking news in the country music world! 90s country superstar Mark Chestnut was hospitalized this past Wednesday and has now been admitted to the critical care unit. This somber update follows Mark Chestnut's sudden cancellation of two shows earlier this week.

Mark Chestnut's team has officially confirmed his status in a statement shared on his social media and obtained by Whiskey Riff. The statement from Mark's crew reads, "A message from the Mark Chestnut crew. Mark and his management team deeply regret the necessity to cancel two shows this week."

Mark is currently in the critical care unit in stable condition after being brought to the hospital on Wednesday night. He is receiving care and undergoing multiple tests to identify the calls of his medical issues.

"We extend our sincere apologies to our loyal fans who have always shown unwavering support. We kindly ask that you keep Mark in your thoughts and prayers during this challenging time. We will provide further updates as soon as the medical team establishes his condition." Again, as the statement mentions, at this time it does not appear that the calls of Mark Chestnut's medical condition is known at this time, but his team will work to bring updates as they become available from doctors.
