CORRECTION:

In the video when I say that species and race are the same, I am referring to the animals known as Human Beings only.

Species and race are NOT the same for common animals.
However, because there is no technical animal name for Homo Sapiens other than the genus (Homo), the name for the species of a human and the name for the race of a human is semantically the same 'Homo Sapien'. Homo Sapiens describes both the species and race of a human being.
