While Season 14 of RuPaul's
While Season 14 of RuPaul's Drag Race has been given mostly good reviews from fans and critics alike, there is one glaring issue with the season: the pacing. In one of the longest seasons ever, it seemed like we were never going to reach a top 4, with there still being 8 queens in episode 11.
Now that we're at the final stretch, and down to 5 queens, I wanted to take a look back and reflect on the timeline and pacing of the season. Did Kornbread's unexpected edit really throw off the season that much? Did production really just love this cast and not want to see any of them leave?
I break down a theory of mine on what went wrong, and how we ended up with the strange timeline that we did. So buckle in, it's going to be a LONG ride!
