Humayun Tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. Humayun Tomb was commissioned by Humayun's wife Bega Begum. Humayun died in 1556 but the Construction began in 1565 and it was completed in 1572. The Architect was Mirak Mirza Ghiyath Sayyed Muhammad. Humayun Tomb is declared  UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993. The Designe of Taj Mahal in Agra is inspired from Humayun Tomb. The complex encompasses the main tomb of the Emperor Humayun, which houses the graves of Empress Bega Begum, Hamida Begum, Dara Shikoh and Isa Khan. The Tomb of Isa Khan is also very beautiful and a must see during your visit to Humayun Tomb. Humayun Tomb is maintained by the Archaeological Survey Of India.

Humayun Tomb is near Mathura road, Nizamuddin East, Delhi, India. It is near Nizamuddin Auliya Dargah.
