As featured on Discovery Health Channel: After her spinal cord injury, Amy was told she “would never walk again, and to face life in a wheelchair.” Rejecting this, Amy said “I’m going to walk again and prove those doctors wrong.” She decided to do whatever needed doing to change her life. With a lot of hard work, she has reached her goals of walking down her high school graduation aisle, learning to drive again, and learning to walk again using the Second Step Gait Harness System. Amy shares “I want to live my life again, the way I did before, without a wheelchair.” With the GHS Amy is getting stronger every day, walking indoors and outdoors, and taking her life back.
