Kaiserslautern is a small city in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.It is situated in the southwest Germany. The city is 117km from Frankfurt am Main. The city has a century old history and has got its name from the favorite hunting retreat of Holy Roman Emperor Frederick Barbarossa, who ruled the Holy Roman Empire from 1155 until 1190.
