A guru once taught his disciples the secret of happiness by asking them to fill balloons and then exchange them with each other. The disciples were initially cynical, but they obeyed. As they tried to find their own balloons in the room, there was a lot of chaos and fighting. The guru then asked them to simply take any balloon and return it to the person whose name was written on it. This transformed the atmosphere and everyone was happy. The guru explained that the way to get happiness is by giving happiness to others.

This simple story teaches us a powerful lesson about the importance of giving. When we give to others, we are not only making them happy, we are also making ourselves happy. This is because giving releases serotonin, a chemical in the brain that makes us feel good. Giving also enhances our health and our experience of happiness.

There are many ways to give to others. We can give our time, our money, our skills, or simply our kindness. Even small acts of giving can make a big difference in the lives of others.
