And now for something completely different. A Sonic fighting game and not just any Sonic fighting game but a sort of 2D remake of Sonic The Fighters for SEGA Saturn.

I didn't expect much when starting but it feels polished and most importantly balanced. Bonus points for the 2D sprites and artstyle, it gives this Sonic fangame an extra edge in terms of personality.

First playthrough I do is with Tails since I think he's the most fun of the bunch, then Sonic. I haven't practiced much with the other characters in terms of combo paths and other quirks but Sonic and Tails were my go to here.
