Scottish poet Hugh McMillan will read us one of his poems today. We’ll talk about the Scots language as well as aspects of life in Scotland: language, arts, culture, history, geography, politics, and more. You’ll learn about how Scots is a sister language to English, with its own vocabulary, and how even apostrophes can be an issue to be debated.
