Thank you!

I was waiting for this solution for a while. I wish the process of calibrating the lidar would be without the gimbal. Unfortunately, DJI gimbal is necessary for initial calibration. After that the lidar or the motor will store up to 3 lenses profiles and the lidar calibrations is not necessary.

Here is text manual:
Attach DJI follow focus motor and DJI Lidar to the camera. I’m using DJI Ronin S raising plate upside down and DJI 12mm Rod Mount.
Connect one end of a USB-C cable to the Lidar and another one the motor.
With a second USB-C cable connect one end to the motor and another to the DJI RS 3 Pro Gimbal
Power on the gimbal
Slide right to access Lidar menu
Go to Lidar settings menu
Measure Lidar installation distance on the camera from the sensor to the front of the Lidar. Then enter the installation distance at the Lidar settings menu in mm.
Go to Lens profile and add a new lens profile. Enter Focal length of the lens and then start motor calibration.
To Calibrate the Lidar place a subject one meter in front of the Lidar.
Turn on the camera and using the focus wheel on the gimbal – adjust focus on the subject.
Then place the subject 4 meters away and adjust the focus again. Confirm the settings.
Test the Lidar moving a subject in front of it.
Unplug the focus motor from the gimbal and then connect power from the camera battery or another source.
I’m using D-Tap to USB-C cable which can supply from 7 to 16 Volts. With lower Voltage the system will not work. Link to the cable https://amzn.to/3pB7xvc
Wait for about 20 seconds for a light to appear on the Lidar.
Press Fn button to select correct lens profile.
Press Fn twice to calibrate the motor
Press AF/MF to activate autofocus.
