Relax as I rescue this
Relax as I rescue this little plastic ship. As you can see it was in terrible shape. The former owner may have abandoned the ship because of the damaged hull and deck. I was walking my dog when I spotted the little ship along the fenceline and knew fairly quickly it might make a good ASMR video. I considered doing a much better restoration on the vessel, but in the end decided to keep it simple and crude. This video's audio is best enjoyed with headphones or earbuds.
April 6th, 2017 - Breaking News! A viewer has kindly informed me as to which real-life ship this little toy was modeled after. If you have spent anytime reading the comments you'll know that the question of the toy's prototype has been a popular one and the answer has eluded all of us until now. Thanks go to Austin Leeds for correctly identifying the U.S. Navy's command control ship USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19). There is much information on the internet about this ship that has been operating since 1970. Below is a link to a photo of the real thing. Also be sure to check out Austin Leeds YouTube channel which I have put the link below as well.

I've actually posted four versions of this video in order to ascertain which style of video my subscribers prefer.
