Ramberg-Bäcklund Reaction

Let's hit one more olefination reaction, the Ramberg-Bäcklund reaction. This one involves an extrusion of sulfur dioxide to yield an olefin in intramolecular fashion. This is an example of a cheletropic reaction. Let's check out the mechanism and some important applications!
