In this QuickBooks Desktop training tutorial, you will learn how to track expenses by job. This is also called “job costing”. You can record the customer or job that goes with whatever expense or check or bill you are paying. Just add a name in the “customer/job field. Then you can see the profit and loss by job on the report called “profit and loss by job”.
