As requested, today we’ll be exploring Megan, the 2023 sci-fi horror directed by Gerard Johnstone, from the twisted minds of James Wan and Jason Blum.

Starring Allison Williams, Violet McGraw, Ronny Chieng, Amie Donald as Megan, and the eponymous doll voiced by Jenna Davis, it follows a roboticist named Gemma that builds a life-like doll for her company.

Poking fun at modern families that outsource their parenting to technology and devices, Megan is an absurdist nightmare and warning about abandoning your primary role as guardian.
