Featuring some of the biggest WWE stars of the attitude era, including The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, The Undertaker and Chris Jericho. And wrestlers from WCW and ECW in Rob Van Dam, Tazz, Booker T and DDP. The WWF Invasion storyline, which unfolded in 2001, was an ambitious and highly anticipated angle in professional wrestling. The concept pitted the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) against wrestlers from the defunct World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) promotions, merging the latter two into one faction known as "The Alliance." Despite its potential, the Invasion storyline ultimately fell short of expectations and is widely regarded as a failure.
