During his first stint as
During his first stint as Chief Minister of the bifurcated Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu conceived and founded in 2016 Andhra Pradesh Medical Technology Zone (AMTZ), a first-of-its-kind medical devices manufacturing cluster in the country. AMTZ's contribution to tackling Covid-19 by suppling PPE kits, masks and ventilators is little known. The facility presently houses more than 140 companies that manufacture from masks to MRI machines.
