Things People Get Wrong About Angels

Western culture has a pretty distinct image of angels: creatures that are servants of God and protectors of humanity that boast an incredibly beautiful set of wings. And while many angels are depicted in this way throughout the Bible, there are plenty of other instances where angels are nothing like the sweet guardians and messengers we’re used to seeing.
Angels can be, much like humans, flawed creatures. There are stories of angels fathering a race of giants with human women, while the most evil being in the Bible was once himself an angel. Here are some of the things people get wrong about angels.
