Here is another great recipe for baked potatoes wth cream - I guess French style. I think the names in English are Potato Dauphinoise and Potatoes Au Gratin.
Although I like to make potatoes with spices in the oven, now my favourite potato recipe is this one that my syster makes. This potato recipe can serve you when your guests come because the ingredients are listed in grams, you do not need to be afraid of whether it will be unsalted or too salty, this is a great amount of spices for 1 kg of potatoes.
In addition, the baking time is also said in a minute, and this potato recipe will surely serve you well.

Ingredients:

1 kg of potatoes
8 g of salt
8 g vegetable spice ie vegetable stock
a little pepper
a little oil
250 ml of cooking cream
125 ml of milk
200 g mozzarella or other cheese

Preparation

Prepare 1 kg of potatoes, peel them and put in cold water.
Cut the potatoes into thin rings and return to cold water.
When you have cut all the potatoes, wash them and add 8 g of salt and 8 g of vegetable spices.
I use vegeta (homemade) which is a vegetable stock that contains 50% salt and 50% dry vegetables and spices.
Add a little pepper.
Mix the potatoes with the spices.
Prepare one baking tray and put just a little oil on the bottom.
Put potatoes in the baking tray.
Put 250 ml of cooking cream and about 125 ml of milk, ie as much as is enough to cover the potatoes.
Bake the potatoes in the oven at 200 °C for about 35 minutes, depending on the strength of the oven.
Grate 200 g of mozzarella or any other cheese of your choice and place on the potatoes after 35 minutes of baking.
Bake the cheese for another 5 to 10 minutes until it gets a nice color on top.
