My favorite version of his charming western duet called "A Dear John Letter," was recorded by Skeeter Davis and Bobby Bare in 1965. My dear friend from my college Folk Ensemble days, Bill Doolittle, who currently lives back east, helped me out and I'm so grateful, since singing a duet all by oneself is very tricky. Because we live so many states apart, this little project required a bit of coordination and technology but here it is, finally ready to be shared. We hope you enjoy it!
