🌿✨ Sharing my latest experiment with you: an oleogel made with oils and 15% cetearyl alcohol!
After heating it in a water bath and then cooling it in a cold water bath while mixing until thickened, I achieved a luxurious consistency that feels sliding, rich and delightful! 💧✨
But the adventure didn't stop there!
I decided to take it a step further and transform it into a cleansing oil by adding 5% of a mild surfactant (Potassium cocoyl rice amino acids, Aqua, Coco-caprylate). The result? An effective cleanser with an oil-to-milk magic touch! 🛁
However, every journey comes with its lessons, and I've noticed that while it works well removing the makeup, it feels a tad too heavy on damp skin. 🤔
Time for some fine-tuning! ⚙️
