In Cauvery water dispute, massive protests lead to curbs in Bengaluru

In the Cauvery water dispute, massive protests and vandalism paralysed the IT hub of Bengaluru and parts of Mysuru on Monday as it emerged that Karnataka has to release more water to neighbour Tamil Nadu because of a modified Supreme Court order. Large gatherings have been banned in Bengaluru.
