Configuring the altimeter of a Casio PRO TREK digital watch is essential, so that you get correct readings while trekking.

The procedure works on Casio PRO TREK PRW-3100, PRW-3000, and probably most nowadays Casio PRO TREK digital watches.

How to determine your current elevation? It is best if you have a map with marked altitude values at certain locations, and you are at such a location.
