Travels by Narrowboat - "Headlong Flight" - S09E11

Gooday and this week Aslan & I continue our journey northwards, along the Ashby Canal, where we left off last time.

A few miles later we arrive and moor up at Market Bosworth, where I take a stroll to buy some supplies, as well as a quick look around this histroric, picturesque and very original market town.

Moving off the next day, we begin the initial and final 7 miles or so, to the canal's terminus near Snarestone . . .
