In today's video, I will share the simplest method to test pure desi ghee at home. Most of the times we purchase desi ghee from market or milkman and are not sure if desi ghee is pure or does it have mixing of any impurity.
I will perform simple iodine test. Take sample of desi ghee and put few drops of iodine on it. The pure desi ghee will not change its color while the desi ghee with potatoes mixing it will turn purplish blue due to starch mixing in it.
