A pool champion, Jesus, enters a tournament to help his friend Paco, a victim of moneylenders. An underworld boss invites him to lose, but he does not give in, thus causing the murder of the man he was trying to help. Andrea, a girl who worked at Paco's bar, camps out in his house, not knowing where to go. The young woman shows an innate talent for cueing, so he decides to coach her and, disguising her as a boy, takes her to the world tournament in Italy.
