If you want to play this snapshot, choose the "Latest Snapshot" profile in your launcher. Keep in mind that snapshots are unstable - they can break your world if you are unlucky - keep backups!
Changes in this snapshot:
Mobs:
- Wandering trader added - a new villager that can be randomly found in the world
- Spawns randomly, will despawn after 48000 ticks - only one can exist per world
- Has 6 trades, all unlocked up front, once used up cannot be reopened
- Random trades with fixed prices picked from the following:
- For 1 emerald:
- Ferns, sugar canes, pumpkins
- All types of flowers except wither roses
- Wheat, beetroot, pumpkin and melon seeds
- Vines, Both types of mushrooms
- Gunpowder
- 3x any type of dye
- 2x lily pad
- 4x red sand
- 8x sand
- For 2 emeralds:
- Sea pickles, glowstone
- For 3 emeralds:
- Kelp, cactus, all types of coral blocks, podzol, packed ice
- For 4 emeralds:
- Slime balls
- For 5 emeralds:
- Nautilus shells
- All types of saplings
- Fish buckets with tropical fish or pufferfish
- For 6 emeralds:
- Blue ice
- More rare items tend to be in the last trade slot
- Is escorted around by a few Llamas with some sweet new decorations
- Look different but otherwise work like normal llamas
- The Illager Beast is now named Ravager
- Fixed withers and ender dragons breaking jigsaw blocks
Gameplay:
- Fixed sliding down instead of falling when running off ledges along walls
- Changed how often you'll fill a layer in the Composter
- Chances have increased
- 10% to 30%
- 20% to 50%
- 50% to 65%
- 80% to 85%
- Fixed end gateways teleporting to the obsidian end platform
- Fixed end crystals being spawned in the air when respawning the ender dragon
- Fixed scaffolding connecting to fences, walls etc.
- Fixed scaffolding not being placable within the same block that you are standing in
- Fixed mobs being unable to pathfind through scaffolding
- Fixed items not colliding properly with scaffolding
Sounds
- Added place and break sounds for the lantern
- New placement sounds for the sweet berry bush
- Special sounds for wandering trader:
- being hurt
- dying
- accepting a trade
- denying a trade
- different ambient sounds depending on if they are busy or not
Server:
- Fixed stopping the server not working
Map Making:
- Fixed the /locate command locating invalid EndCity locations
- Two new entity types: wandering_trader and trader_llama
- Two new fields in level.dat: WanderingTraderSpawnChance and WanderingTraderSpawnDelay
- Two new block tags: dragon_immune and wither_immune
- /forceload query can now be used by command blocks and functions
