ISRO achieved a milestone with the successful execution of the third and final Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV) Landing Experiment (LEX) today. Conducted at the Aeronautical Test Range (ATR) in Chitradurga, Karnataka, the mission RLV LEX-03 demonstrated Pushpak's autonomous landing capabilities. Released from a Chinook helicopter at 4.5 km altitude, Pushpak showcased precise course correction and landing despite challenging wind conditions. This success is a significant step towards developing a larger vehicle for future orbital tests, marking India's progress in building its indigenous 'space shuttle'.
