How to Read Column Layout Plan | Column Reinforcement Schedule

In this video we will be learning about reading column and wall layout drawings also known as column center line plan. Later in the video we will study column reinforcement detail / Column schedule. We will take an example of an RCC concrete office building and study construction drawings required to cast columns and shear walls. Structural column layout forms a basic part of construction sheets and every site engineer and structural engineer should know how to read them. For the column reinforcement we will see the column longitudinal reinforcement and stirrups (ties).
