Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka held a meeting at his expansive Yatta farm on Friday. The Wiper boss had invited key opinion leaders from across the three Ukambani counties for the major gathering, with top Azimio guns including Raila Odinga in attendance.
This was Kalonzo's first ever big political gathering convened since the last general election, as he plotted a possible second stab at the country's top job.
All Ukambani MPs and MCAs from Kitui, Machakos, and Makueni converged at the farm amid pressure on Kalonzo to declare his 2027 Presidential bid and seek support from Raila.
Kalonzo had always summoned key Ukambani leaders to his Yatta home when making landmark political declarations, including his decision to work with Azimio.
