Where it all began - The very first game in the AKI series of wrestling video games started here on the original PlayStation, with the Japanese exclusive Virtual Pro Wrestling from 1996.
A basic form of what people would grow to love on the Nintendo 64, but the fundamentals are recognisably all here. Strong grapples, Spirit Meters and awesome animations were there from the beginning, as well as a kick ass roster of 50+ of the best wrestlers during the 1990s. There really wasn't anything even close to this at the time... or even today.
