He speaks about how we need to be good with positional ideas, because they are very important when dealing with the many different types of pawn structures that we will see during our own games.
Roman first talks about the isolated central pawn and how it is the most common type of pawn structure. He describes it as the most difficult position to play, but also the most important position to understand. After looking at the isolated central pawn, Roman then switches to talking about the doubled pawn and the c5/d5 pawn structures.
