Introverted in an extraverted world | Slow living and self-acceptance

Today I explore a little my journey in this world as an introvert. It hasn't always been simple accepting that my social energy could deplete quickly and that I am naturally quiet and reserved. It took me some time to figure out how to prioritise close-knit friendships and time alone to replenish my energy levels. This world often favours extraversion traits and it can feel unfair when those personality aspects don't feel intuitive. Whilst we can learn to get out of our comfort zone, to grasp some opportunities at work or in our personal lives, it's important to accept ourselves as we are too.
