In this video tutorial, I will share with you how I make a cube lamp that casts beautiful galaxy glow on all 6 faces. This is a great DIY project for your home, room decor and/or gift. The lamp construction is so simple and the reward is great with your effort and time.
For the lamp frame, I highly recommend using cards above 300 gsm. This will ensure the structural rigidity. For the lampshade body, I suggest to use watercolor pad that is 180 gsm. This will guarantee that the galaxy is hidden well when the lamp is not lit, and great presentation of the galaxy when the lamp is lit.
For your safety, please use the low energy or LED globe for this lamp.
