Tiger nuts are tubers with a sweet and slightly nutty taste. They have a great deal of superfood qualities.
They are extremely high in fiber. A single ounce of Tiger nuts has 40% of our daily recommended fiber!
Tiger nuts are rich in prebiotic fiber. Prebiotics act as food for gut bacteria. They help your gut's natural probiotics thrive.
They have a high amount of phosphorus, potassium, and vitamins E & C.
TIGER NUT MILK RECIPE
- [ ] 1 cup tigernut (soaked for 18-24 hrs)
- [ ] 3 cups water
- [ ] Pinch of salt
1. Wash tigernuts thoroughly
2. Transfer to a blender. Add water and blend well
3. Filter out milk using a nut milk bag, cheese cloth or fine sieve.
4. Transfer “milk” to a jar. Add salt and shake.
5. Stores in fridge for about a week.
6. Shake well before using.
