Ever heard of turmeric milk (a.k.a golden milk)?  It's okay if you haven't.  A lot of people haven't, actually.  It's a great beverage to have on hand to drink as a warm milk before bed or to include in your post workout smoothie.  And in this video I explain the reasons why with 3 turmeric milk benefits that boost your recovery.

In a nutshell, the 3 awesome benefits of turmeric milk are:

Anti-inflammatory:  the turmeric and ginger both reduce inflammation and the black pepper aids in absorption of the turmeric.  Since working out causes inflammation of tissues in the body, it's good to have this after a workout to speed up recovery.

Antioxidants:  turmeric milk is very high in antioxidants which help scrub free radicals.  Since these free radicals cause a domino effect of damage to cells, you'll perform and recover more optimally with the antioxidant boost.  Plus antioxidants have plenty of other benefits such as immunity, anti aging effects and more.
