Rioting and often violent protests in Paris and surrounding suburbs have prompted governments to warn their citizens to be extra cautious when visiting the French capital, but tourists taking in the city’s landmarks on Sunday, July 2, remained largely undeterred, saying they felt safe despite the unrest.
