The Kerala government has started issuing smart license cards for motor vehicle drivers. The smart license card, which will replace the existing laminated cards, has seven security features.

The card has a hologram of the Motor Vehicle Department’s logo, India’s map with an Optically Variable Ink, microprinting, invisible UV image, Guilloche pattern, QR code and serial number. The 85 mm x 54.02 mm size card is made using PVC PETG.

The card has been issued as per the norms of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. Transport Minister Antony Raju said that the vehicle registration certificates too will be converted to smart cards from May.

3.Select your State

4.Click Replace DL link

5.Fill the Details and submit.

6. Select Your Service Replace Dl

7. Complete all stages, upload documents, upload photo and signature, payment
