I've wanted to do work to this rifle for a while. I wanted a gun just for the woods. A brush gun that wouldn't get hung up on anything and I could take anywhere. I had been planning this build for a while with a 45-70 that I'd had for 7 years. 45-70 in my opinion is the best woods caliber there is. I finally put it all together and the rifle turned out great. I cut the rifle barrel down, added a beautiful stock and topped it off with a 3-9x40 Leupold stock. Its a great rifle.
