it's look like a vintage FJ40 but yet equipped with modern  off-roader safety features.

in early of 2000, those Toyota big shot decided to attract those male car buyer in USA. ( is it Toyota is a favourable choice by woman ? is this indicate that Toyota is soft or gently xD?)

so design department of toyota start to design something to impress US male car buyer with this vintage look retrofit FJ Cruiser. they sold very good in the first launch buy after few years US car buyer seems tired of the looks of this FJ Cruiser and the sales drop significantly.

in 2014, toyota stop producing FJ Cruiser.

so in short. this is a collectible item.
